The project is Flying Capacitor Multilevel Inverter based shunt active power filter is apower electronics device which compensate the harmonics consist of flying capacitor multilevel inverter and control system the overall project include

and other component whic are going to use to make these devices like mosfet,amflifier circuitry, aurduino etc
now working principle of the project is that the reference generation system of the project generate compensation signal of the harmonics occuring in the signal and then these compensation signal we give to the controller of the system the control system generate pulses which give to the inverter then the inverter generate the current which is 180 out of phase to the harmonics.this 180 degree out of phase cancel the harmonics in the system which will reduce the harmonic distortion under allowable limit
Due to increasing use of nonlinear devices and loads, the generation of the harmonics is the major problem for the industry as well as for the power system because it effect the stability of the system and because of this system cannot work in efficient way, so in order to tackle this problem the efficient design of the shunt active power filter is needed which can eliminate the harmonics and its effect in order to stabilize the system so that the overall efficiency of the system increase.

3) The design topology reudce the size of the component as compare to different topologies which is used to design the filter
The project is implented at the department the method is
we supply the electrical energy to non linear load and measure the harmonis appeared in the system taen we attach aur shunt active power filter and then again see the results which ultimately reduced harmonics in the system which is our ultimate goal.
this project can scaled at the high level as a industrial product. which also reuded its capital cost.
so if we implement this project a the startup it is the major contribution to the power electronics industry of Pakistan .
Project is based on power electronics and control engineering technology which helpls industry to improve its power quality and reduce harmonics and can also be used for reactive power compensation which leads industry to reduce its losses which increase the industry profit margin also improve the power factor of the industry which is beneficial for overall system of the grid.
Precisely this project is play a key role in order to improve efficiency of all areas from industry to national grid
The project is ultimately a fabricaed device which is implemented at the near to the load which reduced harmonics.improve power qulaity and perform reactive power compensation.
