Project Summary

In short we have identified that it is really costly and time consuming to develop the rest API’s which is most of the part of the backend source code so, we had decided to automate creation of standard rest API’s and their modal in node JS stack. We have discussed the flow of our flexgen earlier in which user has to interact with the user interface to design entity relationships diagrams on pressing the save button now user can enable to publish his or her ERD diagrams to generated the further mention files e.g. (modals, controllers and routes) now the developer can customize APIs according to his or her requirements for example: email integrations, files systems, payment method, mobile messaging etc

Project Objectives

This is our aim to target an audience of technical people who want to develop web applications in a short time. “There’s no need to reinvent the wheel again and again the main goal we are willing to achieve from this application will be creating a platform that will just take input as fields from the user and generate the overall backend UI and database of the proposed project

Project Implementation Method

We are using agile methodology for our project. The Agile software development methodology is one of the simplest and effective processes to turn a vision for a business need into software solutions.

Phase-1

This our planning phase called phase I where we will identify our stakeholders (Group members) that will work with use

Phase-II

This is analysis phase where we will gather the requirement according to the given problem statement

Phase-III

In this design phase we will breakdown the task give to our group member and they will complete according to the given time period to achieve our goal

Phase-1V

This is the execution time where the coding is started and side by side testing also. If there any bug or error it will be iterate and generate the defect report

Phase-V

In this last phase the project will deploy this is the implementation phase

Benefits of the Project

In the recent few years web applications have gained much strength and they are used in many different scopes, replacing some old desktop software and Web applications bring some advantages like integration, security, scalability, accessibility and reduction of development costs. The key concept of model driven software engineering is about focusing on modeling the domain of the applications enabling automatic generation of code script. Software generators let developers focus on business logic, taking care of the basic operation and interfaces. Many projects and frameworks have been developed to obtain this goal. This work focuses on the idea that generated code must be as simple as possible, to let developers easily modify it. The followed approach grant options on the security and documentation side. This work is based on the open source environment as the proposed implementation is built on top of react JS and node JS

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

the final product generated is an schema editior which provides ERD diagram and in return it generates JSON data against required ERD. deployed  on AWS

generated JSON data is feeded to the flex-crud-gen (npm packages published on npm ,crud generator for adonis ) . It generates the required migration model controllers files.
