Project Summary

In the recent modern world, everyone is connected via smart devices and share their appearance to their loved ones. Smart devices have produced several ways into our homes, into our lives, and our children’s pocket. Children are the secret to the future development of every country. The present children are dynamic workers and engaged citizens of countries. All the crimes start from missing of children i.e., sexual exploitation and abuse, physical, forced labor and sexual abused and murder of children are violated around our surroundings due to lack of physical interactions among our beloved persons. However, parents are always worried about their children safety and stressed to keep track and monitor children activities all the time. Usage of smart devices has been spreading to our daily life activities and provide security to beloved from outside environments. In our research work, an android application will be developed that will connect parents and their children to keep and monitor their activities from anywhere. It utilizes GPS and communication administrations to find their children location. Parents will be alerted through notifications when an unwanted activity, child abuser and women assaulter person come close to their children.  This project will be efficient for normal persons and coworker that will be updated to their children.

Project Objectives

The main objective is to build a communication channel between parents and their children for safety. In this work, an android application will be developed as under objective.

• To develop an application to connect children and parents through smart devices and provide a safe environment for them.
• Admin portal for children and parents to keep and save required information.
• To gather a database of child abuser/women assaulter database and save to our model. If there will be any child abuser /women assaulter near to children under 0.5 KM then the application will show their appearance on the application map and will trigger the notification to parents. Children will be also alerted to secure themselves.
• Provide access to parents that can take capture photos using camera (front/back) from children smart devices and will be updated their location places.
• Parents will be able to find their children locations when they will be on the go.
• Parents and other members will be notified their children appearance (e.g., reached school/ leave destination).
• Parents will be provided an access to get detailed location history of all the places they visited.
• Access will be provided to children just press power on/off button for sending an emergency message to their parents without typing anything efficiently.
• Children and parents will be notified for natural disaster alert.
• Children will not be able to uninstall the application without getting permission from their parents.

Project Implementation Method

The application will be developed under these technologies:

• Premium Template: to build a prototype of an application.
• Android Studio: a development environment to develop a beneficial application
• Java: complete development will be implemented on java language
• Firebase: to create a database and connect to smart devices for sending and receiving information.
• Node Js: provide access for tracking the location of children places.
• Flutter: Flutter  framwork will be considered for better implementation of proposed project.

Benefits of the Project

Modern revolution is increasing reliance on technology in all facets of life. Parents are worried about their children that they are safe or not in the outside of the world so the proposed application will make the relive in parent’s tension. Parents will be updated all time to children activities in the outside world.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final product will be an android application where parents can monitor, track and secure their children from unknown, unwanted persons.  It will be beneficial for parents to get every moment places of their children.  This application will be developed using different software technologies and will be efficient and easy access for parent and will be able to update, keep and track the location of their children places. Parents will easily get updates of any disaster
