Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryAs the technology is advancing every day the display board systems are moving from Normal hand writing display to
digital display. Further to Wireless display units. This
project develops a photo type laboratory model wireless
notice board system with Wi-Fi module connected to it,
which displays the desired message of the authorized user through an SMS in a most populated or crowded places. By developing an Android application in this proposed methodology we can enhance the security system and also make awareness of the emergency situations and avoid many dangers.
There are several places which require vital notice to be disp;ayed like colleges, railway station, share market, resturent and hospital etc. looking into the present trend of information transfer it is seen that vital notive take time to be displayed on the displaying boards. this latency is not anticpated in most of the cases and must be avoided. The advancement in the technologies related to wireless communication has led the emergence of several engineering design to aid the human requirments. that project overcome the difficulties faced by previous moving text message display module using wired entry via computer, keyboard or remote control entry at small distance. now in this project the message is sent through a cell phone using android app which is specially design for that project. and every operator should have a email and password for sign-in that app. then the message is stored in database at the back end the m,essage is sent from server to the receicver side. which will be a laptop and displayed to LCD. by this method we can send message from any place of the world. the develop system will therefore aim to wirelessly sharing information with intended users andalso heplsin saving time and cost of stationry materials.
Project Implementation MethodIn this we use different technologies.firstly we use bluetooth to operate our project but its range was to short, then we use GSM technolgy by sending our message through sm. after that we decide to apply different technolgy.we use RF module for that project and arduino R3. one module is apply to sender side and other is at receivers side/ and HDMI is attached with port of arduino. by tgis we can easily display our message from, long distance. WAN technolgy is suitable for that....
Benefits of the Projectthis project help us to save our time and cost. because the wooden notice board was too expensive and time consuming advertistment
Technical Details of Final DeliverableWe proposed system consists of following components:
1) LCD
2) Wi-Fi Module
3) Power supply
4) Micro Controller
5) Android phone
6) Android application
LCD: The LCD which we are using is 16*2. It contains two
lines as it can display 16 characteristics in each line LCD us
used to display the message. The operating voltage of the
LCD is 5v.
Wi-Fi modules: the Wi-Fi module we are using in our
project is Esp8266. A 3.3v Dc supply is required for this
module. If the power supply exceeds more than 3.3v the
module will get damage.
Power supply: The power supply is used for converting one
form of energy to another form. The power is supplied to
max of 230v. Micro controller/ Wi-Fi module and LCD.
Micro controller: The microcontroller which we are using
is 8052 microcontroller. This requires 5v supply which is
used to control all the functions of our project.
Android Phone: In this, android phone we are using
connection terminal app to interface micro controller with
Wi-Fi module to display a wire less message transmission.
