Additionally, these attacks go undetected in both hardware and software, but are easy to implement. This allows residents to create devices that are convenient, uncluttered, reliable, and easy to use. Biometric electronic voting systems are no longer a phenomenon. They are actively used in international areas such as Ghana and Ireland and have spread to many other developing countries. The mission supports the idea of ??a fraud prevention mechanism to enable e-voting in India. It is clear that a human fingerprint is not like any other human, which improves the overall protection performance and prevents vote forgery. Many strategies have been devised to prevent fraud in electoral systems but they cannot be completely eliminated. The company's goal is to improve the overall security of voting machines and provide easy access to verify votes using fingerprint authentication. We tried to mint every man or woman using the Arduino IDE and the SFGv2.Zero demo. The scanned fingerprint is verified. If there is a match, that person has the right to vote.

Voter Athunticatio::At first, the voter is asked to input their fingerprint. The inputted fingerprint is matched against the fingerprints stored in the database. If a match is found, the system returns a confidence value showing the percentage of match between the input and stored data. At this stage, the necessary voter information, such as, the national ID number, name of the voter etc. are displayed on the LCD screen. However, if no match is found in the database for the inputted fingerprint, the system will not respond and simply remain locked. This process effectively and efficiently weeds out unregistered or invalid voters and very useful to maintain the integrity of the voting process.
Voter fraud prevention & Voter anonymity protectionOnce their identity has been confirmed, the voter can use the . Physical implementation of the system attached keypad to cast his or her vote. Once the vote is cast, the database is updated in real time. The cast vote is saved in a CSV file. The CSV file bears a unique name upon creation based on the center ID, voting machine ID and candidate ID. When the system receives the input (vote) from the voter, it searches the memory for a CSV file with the same identification corresponding to the cast vote. If the CSV file already exists, the existing file is updated. If it doesn’t, then a new CSV file is created following the unique naming convention. Inside the CSV file, the voter name and ID are stored along with the cast vote. The CSV files are processed using the database software which counts and removes duplicate entries. This way, the election process can’t be tampered with and only one vote per voter is counted. However, it is very important to note that, these CSV files can’t be accessed through the voting machines and so, the voter anonymity is preserved. The result is declared through the individual voting machine communicating with the central database and fetching the counts from each of the CSV files.

Fingerprint Module:
Finger print module is the important part of the EVM. It is used for scanning the finger print of the voter before starting the voting process and all the process of scanner is controlled by the ATMEGA328p. The scanner is connected to the controller through a cable called “MAX232”. This cable is connected to an IC called RS232 which is used to convert the binary (0’s or 1’s) data of the scanner into TTL (TransistorTransistor Logic) which is understood by the microcontroller.
GSM Module:
SIM 900A out brings GSM/GPRS 900/1800 MHz performance for voice, SMS, data in a compact manner along with low power consumption. It has a dimension of 24mm*24mm*3mm which fits the space requirement of our desirable.
RFID:
RFID tag is a small device which stores and sends data to the reader. They are categorised as - active and passive. Passive RFID tags are cheaper and smaller. Another benefit is their longer shelf life. There are 2 important components - microchip and coil. The antenna/coil receives power and RF signals from the RFID reader and sends those signals to the chip. The chip after receiving those signals computes it and sends the data to RFID reader. To acknowledge the identity of the RFID card, the reader sends radio signals which is captured by the coil (working as antenna) for the card/tag. The coil receives these signals as alternating current and passes to the chip. The chip extracts power and information from the current.
