• We purpose the idea of an iOS application that uses the Augmented Reality techniques has been presented that helps the user envision the furniture item before buying it.
• This system will help the customer to view the furniture object virtually in real environment before buying the object.
• Due to this system customer will come to know how his home structure would look after buying the furniture object.
• This proposed system would let the user to try multiple combination of object virtually without physical movement of furniture objects.
• This will help the buyer to determine how to setup furniture in home structure.

Project Objectives

• Purchasing products for interior design is a challenging task. It is essentially connected with the problem that the product cannot be put into its place before it is purchased.
• Customers may wonder how the furniture would look in its tentative place.
• Visualizing the furniture in the real world can be made possible through Augmented Reality applications.

Project Implementation Method

We use agile methodology for the development of this project:

Phase-I:

The first phase will be a Planning phase. In this phase we will make project plans that how we build our project and set project goals and set a schedule for the project closure.

Phase-II

The second phase is a design phase. In this phase we will create a mockup for our project how the User Interface (UI) will look like and relation between classes and screens.

Phase-III

The third phase is Implementation phase. In this phase will be start implement strategies which we designed in previous phase and start coding for the project.

Phase-IV

The Fourth phase is testing phase. After development and implementation phase we will test the project whether the project is working or not, if not make amendments 2nd and 3rd phase again.

Phase-V

The fifth phase will be maintenance phase. This phase will include after service for the customer and future improvement regarding the project.

Benefits of the Project

• Applications in Augmented Reality that make use of these technologies make the user’s surroundings interactive and manipulable.
• We propose an Augmented Reality based application to visualize the furniture.
• AR offers solution to the problem of visualizing objects in real world.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

• First we made E-commerce IOS Native app with authentication of SQLite .
• Developed both admin and user panel.
• Designed 3D models with the help of Unity software.
• Integrate 3D model in our developed E-commerce app.
• Used ARKit for the integration of 3D model which is provided by Apple Inc.
