Project Summary

E-Assessment and Analysis System is an effective solution for mass education evaluation. Though, a variety of e-assessment approaches and systems have been developed in recent times, yet lack of flexible timing functionality to automatically generating quizzes,  managing quiz starting and ending time, hide the quiz after allotted time, result integrity comprise, stand-alone deployment, lack of flexibility, robustness and scalability as well as human error are major limitations of the existing platforms. In this proposal, a web-based Online Computer Base Quiz System is developed to address these drawbacks. The system is designed to facilitate the examination processes and manage challenges surrounding the conduct of examination, auto-submission, auto marking and examination result report generation.

Project Objectives

• Time analysis of responses to the question.
• Analysis on each answer to determines the question level.
• Timing analysis on how long it takes candidates to respond to questions or the test as a whole can provide information about whether the time allowed for the test is appropriate or it needs to be adjusted.
• Greater flexibility in deciding how the test will be assembled and questions administered so that better decision would be taken on which method works best to meet the objectives of the testing program. Considerations for optimal test design include the size and quality of the item bank, candidate volume and the frequency of test administration.
• Question banks
• Randomization of questions and response orders to reduce cheating.
• Automated analysis of results.
• Instructors can add any further questions to maximize the size of the bank of questions.
• Different examinations for each student with randomly selected questions from the bank of questions can be done.
• Different reports for the instructors, students, classes etc. can be obtained
• Several students can take their exams simultaneously without any problem inside and outside their campus. The proposed software has been designed to work based on the client server architecture.
• Immediate feedback can be given.
• This can be use in educational institutes / cooperate environment.
