Project Summary

Hiring a professional service provider nearby is often a tedious task manually. Therefore, the proposed system will serve as a marketplace between professional service providers and buyers. EaServices will be available on mobile platforms i.e. Android and iOS in 2 languages (English and Urdu) wihin the same app. Service provider of different will be provided a intuitive and facile registration system to get listed into the relevant category. This platform comprises of multiple features including user authentication, user profile, order management, portfolio management for service provider, chat system, search filters and rating/feedback system for each order. Payment will be done manually and service provider will have to transfer a specific percentage of the earnings to the platform monthly in order to retain the platform membership. Cuopons and loyalty points will also be offered to buyers for each order on the platform.

Project Objectives

The main objective of this project is to propose, design, develop and deploy a robust and scalable marketplace for Pakistan. This platform will be designed to provide seamless environment of a marketplace for both transcation participants (buyers and service providers). This product will try to make sure to provide easeness for its users and allowing them to pay directly as per their preference rather than e-payments (which is not common in majority of lcitizens of Pakistan). Best service providers will be promoted on our platform as per their ratings in order to leverage standard.

Project Implementation Method

In order to deliver an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) for the proposed platform, extensive planning and suitable designing techniques are implemented. We'll be analyzing the market trends and existing solutions and point out the improvement areas. We'll be using design and mockups tools in order to provide better understanding of the UI/UX and HCI standard protocols. Later on we've planned to implement the product in TDD (Test Driven Development) method in order to deliver a better platform. 

Benefits of the Project

Main benfit of this product is to provide easiness and satisfaction for the buyers and engage the user in a seamless marketplace environment. Furthermore, this product will allow the under-privilidged skillful persons to showcase their potential and utilize their expertise in order to earn more money. In this way, the proposed platform will provide an opportunity to the citizens of Pakistan to increase their standard of living. This will ease a burden from any individual of the family in earning and living.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

FInal deliverable of this project comprises of the following modules:

USER AUTHENTICATION: Proposed platform will allow the user to signup/signin through multiple options including Email, Phone number or Social Login (Google or Facebook).

PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT: This feature will allow the service providers to list their offerings and portfolio including expertise, prcing plan and other details.

ORDER MANAGEMENT: The proposed platform will provide end-to-end support for the order management on both sides.

CHAT SYSTEM: Integrated chat will allow the users (buyer and services providers) to communicate directly for free.

RATING SYSTEM: For each order completion, user will be able to provide feedback and ratings for services provided by service provider that will be displayed on their dashboard/portfolio.
