Lack of paper movements provides complaint management operations a speed which was never envisaged in manual mode at all. The software allows a booking operator to book and lodge complaints and automatically schedules and prompts operators to source complaint to the concerned departments. State-of-the-art management information, reports on complaint details and pending complaints with reasons and remarks provides management a better insight to problems and traffic situations of telephone lines. The proposed E- Governance aims to provide a simple and unique web based platform to manage the complaints of the citizens. The proposed system will facilitate the public / citizens as well as the government officials regarding their queries or complaints.

Project Objectives

The leading role of this project is to recognize the whole system with the help of a computer. The whole system depends on manual paperwork, which is very unreliable, inconsistent and inefficient. Maintaining data within a Department and Outside the Department is easy to maintain with the help of computer and database, e.g., deletion, insertion and updating is not difficult. With one click, we can access, retrieve, modify, update or delete any record of any department because the technology or mechanism used in computers is interlinked with one another. We can get easily the desired result, but in the manual system, a lot of effort is required for these tasks. Security is an important issue on the computer based system and it is a basic requirement. We can protect our data by giving checks on the data or granting privileges to the persons whom we want to make authorized. Time is another problem in the manual system. It is the first priority of the project to save the time and utilize the time that has been wasted before. The broad objective of the project is to use ICT in improving the ability to collect, store and analyze accurate data.

Project Implementation Method

A Web portal is a specially designed website that brings information from diverse sources, like emails, online forums and search engines, together in a uniform way. Usually, each information source gets its dedicated area on the page for displaying information often, the user can configure which ones to display. Variants of portals include mashups and intranet "dashboards" for executives and managers. The extent to which content is displayed in a "uniform way" may depend on the intended user and the intended purpose, as well as the diversity of the content. Very often the design emphasis is on a certain "metaphor" for configuring and customizing the presentation of the content (e.g., a dashboard or map) and the chosen implementation framework or code libraries. In addition, the role of the user in an organization may determine which content can be added to the portal or deleted from the portal configuration.

The tools used for the implementation are: Asp.net, SQL server and C#.

This is an online application Governance site that will facilitate the public / citizens as well as the government officials regarding their queries or complaints. This project will help users to solve their routine problems with ease. The  proposed  system  will  remove  the  hectic  task  of  customers  and  executive  for searching and other activities is involved in the system. The proposed system has several benefits like efficiency, online management, security, reliability and extended features.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

ASP.NET and SQL Server are database based applications and most of the users now-a-days are well familiar with the use of these, so there is no need of any special skills required by the users or making them aware of the system. On the other hand the system does not have any extraordinary technical requirements. So the project is technically feasible too.

The software is easy to operate on and user can easily understand the operations of the software and proper help is also provided for the user.

Technical feasibility concerns around the current system technology i.e. Software & Hardware and to what extent it can support the proposed system. It also involves the financial consideration to accommodate the technical enhancements.

• The proposed equipment has the technical capability to hold the required data to be used in the new system.
• The system can be expanded whenever required.
• There are technical guarantees of accuracy, reliability, ease of access and high data security.
