Infectious diseases can be spread with easily with the use of the same device like biometric devices. And this is very dangerous to health of employees using the same fingerprint device. The most fatal infectious diseases that we are facing now is corona virus and so we cannot risk the lives of humans. Keeping this in mind institutions and organizations has stopped the use of biometric devices. Beside corona virus there are many other infectious diseases that spread through indirect contact especially the use of the same device by multiple persons.

As biometric authentication now a part of our daily life and fingerprint biometrics are now the dominant technology and the part of our everyday life from using our smartphones to authentication, security and access in the professional organizations. It is secure a method of authentication and streamline tedious tasks, for institutions, businesses and governments.

With number of advantages using the biometric devices we are now at risk of life and health discussed above. Like the recent notification form PARSA-EAPARC, they have recommended to ban shared finger print scanners due to fast spread of virus nowadays.

Besides the infectious diseases we have observed that finger print scanners especially are not responding in winter due to dry finger issues. Dry finger is a problem which is observed due to low temperature, we have survey research work that proves more than 70% of the users have faced these issues in the existing fingerprint recognition devices used in organizations and institutions.

Now we have observed that these devices have health issues and other responsive problems, fixed location and cost factors. We are providing a solution which is secure and stream line the use of the process of biometric authentication while resolving all the issues. We have proposed this project also keeping in light the dangerous virus known as "Coronavirus", which can be transmitted easily through finger prints. According to PARSA-EAPARC, they have recommended to ban shared finger print scanners due to fast spread of virus nowadays.

We are developing an application which uses the fast fingerprint of mobile device of  individual’s ,check the location using the GPS and Map Services for validating location while take fingerprint using the personal device to allow user to mark the attendance of the individual’s presence in the premises of the organization. GPS and map services are used for verifying their location. There is no need of biometric device which is fixed to one location and have issues discussed above. This app will completely provide the organization to continue their attendance by just using our mobile app to get the data of there employees which is the same as we previously by using the biometric devices. The project scope is not just limited to the attendance system of the organizations also been expanded for authentication and all other uses of fingerprint devices.

  1. Ensure that employees in institutions, organizations and businesses where biometric authentication is used will not cause the spread of infectious diseases. 
  2. Ensure fast and easy way of marking attendence saving time and other responsive issues as discussed.
  3. Provide a remote and easily to use application to apply contraints according to the need of the organization.
  4. Saving cost of deploying multiple biometric devices.
  5. Databases connectivity and intergration with the existing modules of the organization to not change or effect the flow of the data.
  6. Secure and authentic flawless tranfer of the data of the users and maintaining thier record.
  7. Using REST Web services and other API’s and services whiles making the modules and connectivity with the web or enterprise software.
  8. Depending upon the type of existing module and the architecture providing the easy integration.
  9. Cloud Services of google for app regression testing. 
  10. Bug analysis and reporting services as well as architecture support if needed from google after the testing.
  11. Google Maps Platform "Current Place " Discover the place at the device currently reported location
  12. Google Maps Platform "Geo Location " Return the precise location of a device based on wifi or cellular towers.This is using the coordinates system.(lattitude and logitude)
