Project Summary

With the grace of Allah Almighty, we are pleased to introduce Dr. Cure! This is a mobile-based medical application. The main objective of this project is to facilitate our community with good health. Our app will provide patients the opportunity to book medical appointments, access medical records, order medicine, and provide aid in other medical-related facilities.

There are many doctors and hospitals around us, but how will an individual know which doctor to visit? Dr. Cure has all the answers! This application is helpful for searching for qualified doctors, booking appointments, sharing medical records with doctors, and receiving e-prescribing from doctors after checkups. This application also provides online consulting. Additionally, Dr. Cure gives patients an opportunity to leave a review about the doctor he/she visited, and through this review, the process of doctors will be ranked. We believe this application will be a successful revolution/ turning point in the medical field.

Project Objectives

This is a mobile cross-application run on Android and IOS which will be available to patients and medical practitioners. If you are a doctor register yourself as a doctor and add the required parameter. After registering within 24 hours the system will verify the doctor and the doctor will be added into the database. If you are a patient, after installing the application he/she will be guided to the dashboard and will make a profile. Thereafter, patients can search for doctors, book appointments, save and access medical records, along with sharing previous medical history with doctors. Additionally, patients can post their medical issues and doctors can write blogs which will be available to patients. After the checkup, E-prescribing will be available, and medication can be ordered online. Finally, patients can leave a review for the doctor and based off patients' reviews doctors will be ranked. We hope this project will be a means of accessing good health for the public!

Project Implementation Method

Dr.Cure is a complex and long term product. So, we decided to launch this product in different phases and Versions to minimize risk management. For that, we have complete planed and we will follow the Agile Methodology.

Agile Methodology

Agile is a process by which a team can manage a project by breaking it up into several stages and involving constant collaboration with stakeholders and continuous improvement and iteration at every stage. The Agile methodology begins with clients describing how the final product will be used and what problem it will solve. This clarifies the customer's expectations to the project team.

Scrum

Scrum is an agile framework for developing, delivering, and sustaining complex products, with an initial emphasis on software development, although it has been used in other fields including research, sales, marketing, and advanced technologies.

Benefits of the Project

We selected an issue that is very common within the public- HEALTH! There's a famous saying " the best investment you can ever make is in your own health". Good health and access to good medical care is something that every individual desire. Thus, through our system patients will be provided with full access to well-qualified physicians and anything regarding their health. Plus, through the review-based system, we ensure that the public will receive excellent treatment from doctors.

We hope this project is successful and recognized by the public.

In the end, we launch an application. Everyone download the application and have facilitated the functionality. This application is an evaluation in the medical feild.
