This post-doctorate research proposal aims at explaining, predicting, and designing a system for the diagnosis and recovery of faulty sensors in GSM array antenna. If some elements in the array become fail. The whole radiation pattern disturbs, its sidelobes level increases, nulls are damaged and shifted from their original positions; and the communication becomes a dream.
Detection and correction of faulty sensors in antenna array using computing techniques
Project will be implemented in two phases.
First we will diagnose the location of faulty sensors. Once the location of faulty sensor is diagnosed then we will correct the faulty pattern.
In the second phase we will implement the location of faulty sensors experimentally.
The defence organization and mobile companies will take the advantage of the proposed project.
