Designing and Development of IOT Based physiological Health Monitoring System
There is severe lack of diagnostics and monitoring equipment in Pakistan Health Centers. Monitoring and diagnostics equipment is needed for all age groups. Physiological parameters like heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen content are very important for patient management.We propose to work on development of a IOT based physiological health monitoring system especially tailored for Pakistan. We first done detailed studies to come up with a Target Product Profile. Meanwhile developing proof of concept hardware for ecg, temperature sensor and pulse oximter. For that purpose hardware, software simulations and calculations will be done. At the end making our project IOT based by using esp232
1. Generate TPP (Target Product Profile ) for the ‘needed’ product
2. Develop analysis and simulation tools.
3. Proof of Concept Hardware, a portable device.
4. Patients can self analyze their medical fitness .

• Fast in terms of operation.
• Having lower power consumption.
• Easily affordable
• To improve dismal health conditions of population of Pakistan by provision of modern technology tailored especially to real world conditions and limitation of Pakistan
STAGE 01:
• We are designing/making IOT based physiological health monitoring system which contains 3 lead ECG, Pulse oximeter and temperature sensor. We are self designing ecg and pulse oximeter sensor and then interface all these sensors and temperature sensor with microcontroller.
• First we implement this on software. For making circuits the software we are using is proteus and for coding Arduino uno software is Arduino ide 1.8. Hardware implementation is first done on breadboard, then on veroboard and finally on PCB after all results verification.
STAGE 02:
• Blood pressure will be an additional task done by calculations..After ecg generation through calculation we will detect heart disease by checking ecg signal.
STAGE 03:
• Moreover we are making our project IOT ( based for remote area so that doctors can diagnose those patients easily from the clinic.
STAGE 04:
• At the end we will make a research paper containing all those calculations, circuits, software simulations, all the literature, debugging and tests that will help to accomplish our goals.
• The project, if successful can pave a way towards development of an extemely important piece of equipment which is needed at pretty much any health center in Pakistan.
• Since the project will guide towards a product for Pakistan, we hope that it will not require many things which are required by equipment available from abroad at expensive rates. Examples are:
o ease of use and operation by healthcare staff with minimal training.
o Remote people can also be checked.
o Reduce rush, and checking time.
o People can self analyze.
• Complete literature review.
• Sensor designing detailed study.
• Self designed sensors for ecg and pulse oximeter on software.
• Hospital visit for data collection and calculations.
• Hardware implementation of sensors.
• Sensor interfacing with controller.
• Complete hardware containig ecg, pulse oximeter and temperature sensor
