The aim of this project is to make an Electric vehicle that will run on the roads just like any other car. In this project, we are going to take an ordinary Mechanical engine car and convert it into a fully functional Electric vehicle. 

The technical details will include the replacement of engine with the Electric motor. The battery pack will deliver the power to the motor which will then be able to move the tyres through the shaft. The speed of motor will be controlled through a designed controller which will be synchronized with the accelaration paddle. The necessaray safety measures to run the vehicle safely on road will be taken into consideration. 

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

In the first step, a simple mechanical vehicle will be disassembled i.e (engine and relevant components removal) which will be helpful to install the desired components as well as reduce the weight of car. Then, an electric motor of the calculated power will be installed that is going to be the replacement for the engine. The motor will rotate and its rotation will move the excel of the tyres which will consequently move the tyres. 

To give power to the motor, a chargeable battery pack would be serving as a power source. The batteries would be chosen on such specifications that they rotate the motor with maximum consistency.

In order to control the speed of the motor, a controller (most probably Variable Frequency Drive) will be used that will vary the rotations per minute of the motor. The switch of the controller will be synchronized with the accelaration paddle so that it does not contradict with the habit of driver.

Lastly, a battery management system will be designed in order to keep a sharp check on the battery percentage and charge them.
