Design and development of Android based three D printing using stepper motors
This project contains mechanical knowledge , software knowledge as well as electrical knowledge.It is the apllication of stepper motors in which the position & accuracy of heat bed (on which the object will be made) of 3D printer is controlled by using these motors. Microcontroller Arduino Mega is usedd to control all the operation of 3D printer.At the end,we get the finished 3D object.
To design an android based 3D printer having reasonable cost which will save time, labor efforts and ultimately improves the accuracy of prototype models and provide efficient industrial models.
Fused deposition modelling,a lso called fused filament modelling is used in this project and the filament is PLA ( poly lactic acid).
Any 3d object can be made easily which can be used in any field.
Major technical specifications include 5 stepper motors, 5 stepper motor drivers to run stepper motors,Arduini mega board, Ramp 1.5 kit for interfacing all other elements of the project. However, mechanical apparatus include nozzle,heat bed, extruder, pulley,rods & end stops.
