Design and Development of Android and Desktop Application to Automate Blood Banking Process
As we know millions of patients have to face blood finding difficulties for their treatment
and if they got fail to collect the required blood, it could target their life. It is possible in
some situations that the patient is unable to get the required amount of blood at right time
due to lack of interrelationship in form of a networked database among the blood banks
which leads to the lack of knowledge of updated record of all blood donors. So to address
this problem, we are developing this android application.
The user has to first download the application. He/ She will be provided with two options:
Login and sign up. If the person has already registered, then he/she has to login. If not, he/she
has to create an account providing basic details like name, address, contact, date of birth,
blood group, email id etc. The user then can posts blood requests on wall and also find the donors of particulr location and blood group. Also the requests can be shared to any other social media. Donors and recipients can contact each other using this system. Besides androis application, all these facilities are provided through e=web based application too.
This system will assist in efficient blood donation any time anywhere if one needs it

Project has been implemented using Android Studio tfor making android app and Dreamweaver for Web based Application.
The results of this applications are utilized by common people as maximum people can donate and receive blood through it. Also It creates a balance between people who are able to donate and those who need it
badly.
Server will be required for hosting the database. An external hard disk will be required to save the project after integration. An 8 GB RAM will be required to efficiently test the android application.
