The omni traction hoverboard works on principle of inverted pendulum by using the control techniques like Fuzzy Logic, LQR and PID control. The stability can be achieved by using these control techniques. It is efficient for small travelling distances and has no pollution.
This project has the potential to provide awareness to the organizations regarding the importance of emerging technology and how can countries be progressed by adopting it. Organizations and universities can use this project study for improving the quality of the projects at national level.
A PID controller is a self-optimizing and accurate control system that provides desirable values for a variety of parameters, including warmth, stress, and velocity. The primary mechanism used in PID controllers is control loop feedback. The deviation and planned values were calculated by a PID, which then adjusts the determining parameters accordingly. Until the method is ended, this error is calculated endlessly.
The LQR control technique is a well-known approach for providing optimally managed feedback gains for closed-loop stable and high-performance system design. It stabilizes the system by minimizing specific quadratic functions. It also lowers the cost and time required of a control systems engineer.
The word "fuzzy" reflects the fact that the logic involved may deal with things that are "mostly true" rather than "true." In contrast to classical or digital logic, which works on discrete values of 1 or 0, a fuzzy control system analyses analogue input data in terms of logical variables that take on continuous values between 0 and 1. In machine control, fuzzy logic is commonly employed.
Omni Traction Hover Board has wide range of applications. It can be used for entertainment purposes for kids. It can be used by the patrolling police which roams around the streets. It can also be used by servants which shifts the goods in the warehouses. With the help of this hover board, they can shift the goods easily and hover board will automatically balance the person.
