classifaction of  dental disease in x-ray images is a major problem  in the field of dentistry .As the number of patient increasing day by day and the work  load of the dentist is increasing .The dentist need to check the x-ray clearly and identify the disease manually and then make the report accordingly  that consume alot of time.Our proposed system has a soloution for it  the proposed model will take the x-ray image as an input and will predict the disease in the image  and marked the location of it in the image and will also predict the posssible treatment of that  disease with in seconds of time and will generate a proper report of the it.The complete AI based system will help the dentist to examine patient more efficiently in less time and  help in reducing the workload of the dentist .

Project Objectives

The number of people is increasing day by day who is visiting dentist.  A dentist can work for about 5-6 hours straight in a day due to which misdiagnosis rate of only one disease “carries” from X-rays is may be 20 percent or more. In order to work more effectively and consult more patients in very less time than usual, there must be a proper solution which can provide more accurate results for 24/7. 

The DENTAL X-RAYS ANALYSIS USING IMAGE PROCESSING project will meet the following objectives:
The proposed model will be identifying at least 4 dental problems that are 
Caries
Root caries
Periapical radiolucency
Filling in teeth

Project Implementation Method

our approach is based on the folowing thing

.Deep  Learning
this approach will lead us to make our system to predict the disease more efficiently and supervised  learning approach that will lead us to make our sytem trained more efficiently.
 

Benefits of the Project

A user friendly  interface for  the dentist  for patient examination and help in prediction of the disease from the given digital dental X-rays will be made and will generate reports automatically and remedies for it that will help the dentist to examine patient easily and quickly.

a complete AI based system  that will predict tthe disease in the given x-ray image using image processing   and machine  learning  strategies.
