The project is about management of inventory system. The customer will input his budget and the number of products he will purchase its purchasing amount will be compared to the budget of the customer. This project will also generate bills and so that standing in ques for clearing bills issue will also be dissolved.

Project Objectives

Hisaabi Cart’s scope is to provide hassle-free grocery shopping with updated correct item prices.

Hisaabi Cart will provide value to shopkeepers more than the consumers due to the lack of equipment and management requirements that comes with using POS.

Project Implementation Method

1. Barcode reading using the Camera.

2. Wallet Tracking.

3. Bill calculations.

4. Payment process.

Benefits of the Project

1. Consumers have to wait for a while before reaching payment stage
2. Consumer cannot track their wallet limit before reaching the payment stage.
3. Large supermarkets or chain stores such as Cash and Carry are not widely available in every city in Pakistan and most small stores cannot afford POS equipment.
4. POS systems are hard to maintain and complex to understand and they require training.
5. Most POS computers run on old OS versions that can be hacked easily.
6. Labor cost is another aspect for shops to manage.
