Inflammatory skin illnesses influence more than 1/5 human population in the world. Inflammatory skin illnesses incorporate Psoriasis (Pso), Eczema (Ecz). Your skin is irritated, ruddy, and dry. You can’t halt scratching. Google tells you it’s Eczema. But hold up. As it is well said, health is wealth. people are very cautious about their health. what if? a person gets infected by a skin disease and after visiting a doctor he got the wrong medication. To overcome this situation, we proposed a system that can work efficiently and effectively to detect whether a patient is suffering from Eczema or Psoriasis. The proposed system is quite different in the way that the system helps people especially dermatologists who are dealing with Eczema and Psoriasis patients. However, less experienced dermatologists and youthful dermatologists are especially vulnerable to mistakes since Pso and Ecz are exceptionally effectively to be misdiagnosed. The proposed system will be a useful tool to differentiate between the above-mentioned two skin diseases. The proposed system is quite significant, this system is solving a genuine problem, which is suffering from Psoriasis and Eczema and getting misdiagnosed. Using this system people, especially dermatologists can make fewer errors while inspecting Eczema and Psoriasis patients.

Project Objectives

Eczema and Psoriasis are very similar yet they are different in nature. These two diseases are hard to classify by the naked eye as they both have the same visual. To solve this problem and assist dermatologists, we proposed a web-based system which is an end-to-end deep learning model, which is based on clinical skin pictures, for the computerized conclusion of Psoriasis and Eczema. The objectives of this study are as follows:

  1.  The project aims to provide accurate results of eczema and psoriasis classification by processing eczema or psoriasis infected skin images through the deep learning algorithm.
  2. To develop a system that can be helpful to reach out to a large number of patients easily for conducting their skin disease diagnosis and tracking their records.
  3. There is no application or online platform that allows physicians/dermatologists to upload a skin image and generate a skin disease classification report.
  4. To develop a system that reduces the workload of physicians and dermatologists.

      5.  The proposed system can save time and money.                     using this model there is less chance of misdiagnoses.

Project Implementation Method

Our system helps dermatologists and physicians to classify if a patient has Eczema or Psoriasis. Firstly, dermatologists can take a picture of the infected skin through the high-resolution camera. The picture must be clear and noiseless. After taking picture of the patient, dermatologists can upload the picture to our system, The system can process that image using the deep learning model which is deployed on the website. the system predicts the type of disease that the patient has.

Benefits of the Project Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable of  "Computer-Aided Diagnosis for Eczema and Psoriasis Through Deep Learning" will be a web application developed using Python and the framework is Flask, which also primarily used HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We have implemented more of the 5 deep learning models, one with the best accuracy we can deploy on the website. Vgg16 is performing well we will implement Vgg16 on the website.
