Drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles, can play an important role in military and civilian emergency. Drones are an appealing Surveillance platform because of their speed, lack of restrictions associated with land vehicles, lower cost, and ability to reach remote, otherwise unreachable locations. The goal of Surveillance is to provid a convenient and protective environment to observe land obstacle areas, metropolitan areas, and performing a rescue from devastated areas is also becoming a reality. Because of their low flight altitude, drones may be employed even in overcast situations, which would be difficult or impossible with traditional helicopters and provide medical support to unreachable areas.
The objective of this project is to create a fully autonomus UAV which have ability to transmit the video to ground station and can carry load upto 500g and have ability to take flight by itself and after reaching it's desired destination it can locate it's landing spot through GPS and do a precise landing by the help of IR becon and reciver.
The intentions of doing this is to compensate the security issues by giving the survelliance of desired areas. Also to deliver the emergency medical supplies in case of hazardous situation where human reach is limited. It's precise landing helps us to land it safely on changing landing location.
This project is implemented by using different devices and integrating in one big module.Many techniques of robotics are used in this. While we selcted the devices through proper equations and certain criterias.
