Project Objectives
In the current day and age, shopping malls are full of people that are looking to buy groceries and Vegetables. A cart must be dragged around with him/her in the shop.
SASC will do just that. There by reducing human effort and give an estimate to the position and price of various items
Project Implementation Method
We will be using raspberry pie as the brains to calculate the distance and direction using the RSSI and IMU readings received form the User, there will be a small beacon that the customer will carry in his pocket or purse. The cart will follow only the person in possession of the beacon.
Benefits of the Project
•User convenience , no need to drag a heavy cart due to autonomous mobility.
•To display the total bill after scanning the items.
•Informs you about specific aisle and position if you can’t locate it easily.
The Shopping mall and cash and carry stores will benefit the most, this also includes the Customers there to buy goods.
