The scope of the project is a small car will designed as simulator that will be driven by it self.
The car will be prograpmmed on Raspberry Pi and the lanuguage will be used is Python to prgram the Raspberry Pi. There will be used a pi camera to provide a vision to the car where the car actually see the real environment and will make decisions by that vision. To do this will use OpenCV library and Tenserflow for the computer vision and the algorithm that we will use is Convolutional algorithm.
The aim of the project is to develop a car in smaller scale using the measurements of this smaller level to move on to implement the same methodology on real car can be in near future.
Our main objective of the project is to make a small model of car that will derive itself but we will achieve our objective retrospectively.
In this project the algorithm that we are using is convolutional algorithm that is most commonly applied to analyzing visual imagery. Which is most effective algorithm for visual imagery. The convolutional algorithm is applying through the Tensorflow / OpenCV in autonomous car.
The methodology is using in this project, image will take by camera send it to raspberry pi and process by the convolutional algorithm. Similarly raspberry pi will send the instructions to the motor controller and all the motors run accordingly to drive the car. The motors will run or work as per the instructions which will provided by the raspberry pi using pi cam.
Due to high level of involvement of artificial intelligence every aspect of human life to remove the human errors. So that in transportation, car can also be driven by technology such A.I by using computer vision. The main motive of the project to solve the driving issues and improve car safety and efficiency.
Technically driving a car by itself is not easier as we expect. We have to make the intelligent car that can see, that can sense, that can act, and that can perform operations by itself. We have to make the car artificially intelligent. The approach that would be used to do all these things would be a combination of software and electronics approaches and methodologies. Where the electronics will perform the task of sensing and performing actions. And the software will work as a brain of car that will take sensing instructions through sensors and camera and will take decisions as per signals provided by equipment’s.
