In a pandemic situation as like covid-19 the limited number of beds in every hospital especiallly in pakistan were occupied and had shortage for new incoming patients for the treatment. Due to scarcity of beds patients were forced to lie on the floor.
Our project "stretcher convertible to wheel chair or wheel chair convertible to stretcher" can solve this issue in a better way.
As we are starting through literature review,we will design a recliner mechanism and a lead screw will rotate with the help of motor and the designed mechanism will work.
Then we will place our gear motors to the wheel which will move at a speed of 5 mph to 10 mph.
we will place an ultrasonic sensor which will provide us a automatic braking system in case of obstacle presence.
we will implement our code for gesture control mode to accelerate the wheel chair.

secondly we will use gear motors because the gear motors are able to work efficiently.these motors will move the wheel chair and are good at load bearing.
Thirdly,we will provide an automatic braking system by using ultra sonic sensor.
Furthermore,we might think of adding different modes to accelerate the wheel chair,Those modes are like gesture control,remote control and voice control modes.
