Project Summary

In today’s world which is full of crowd and threats it is very difficult to find a proper place of parking for your vehicle. With the help of our newly designed “Automated Parking System” we are giving a solution to minimize this problem. Our Automated Parking system will work on “service cards” and is divided into two modules, one part of our system will work for those customers who have registered themselves for the whole month, and second part of our system will facilitate the customers on daily basis. Whenever a new vehicle will enter into the parking area first of all Vehicle Number Palate will be scanned by Camera for security purpose. and then service card will be scanned by the “RFID” On exiting pointing only assigned service card owner can take his/her car out of parking. There will be an automatic gate that will be open for entrance and exit by fulfil the requirements of security an efficient screen will be implemented to show the permission and allotment of slots to the user.

Project Objectives

  1. To develop an intelligent and user-friendly automated car parking system which reduce the manpower and traffic congestion.
  2. Enhance the security with simplifying parking system.
  3. To offer safe and secure parking slots with the limited parking area.
  4. Automatic record of check-in and check-outs of the vehicle under the control of RFID readers
  5. The secure RFID enabled system works along with other safety and security hardware to deliver efficient and intelligent parking management for vehicles.
  6. Automated deduction of parking charges from the user account.

        Console will display parking charges.

Project Implementation Method

This Project is based upon hardware as well as software and this project have two modules one for entry and another for exit. only owner of car can take his car out of the parking.

  1. Entry Module

This module will be implemented on before enter gate and following things are required for this module.

  • Camera
  • RFID and RFID tags
  • Display Screen
  • Sensor to sensate presence of object
  • Gate (Automatically opening and closing)
  1. Exit Module

This module will be implemented on before exit gate and following things are required for this module.

  • Camera
  • RFID and RFID tags
  • Sensor to sense presence of object
