Project Summary

Autism is a neuro-disorder in which a person's interactions and communication with others are affected for the rest of their lives. Autism can be diagnosed at any age and is referred to as a "behavioral disorder" since symptoms commonly develop in the first two years of life. According to experts, the autism problem begins in childhood and persists until adolescence and maturity. Repetitive, self-stimulatory activities, often known as stimming, such as hand flapping, headbanging, and spinning, are excellent indicators of autism used in diagnosis. We use gaze patterns, facial expressions, and position estimation to explain deep learning algorithms for detecting autism-related behaviors.We make a mobile based application using flutter (Dart) and integrate it with the machine learing algorithms. Our tool will be very useful for doctors and physicians, they can directly use our mobile application easily. Product will detect autism and will also recommend doctors with a recovery ratio so that patients' guardians can see their progress reports.

Project Objectives

The project's objective is to improve the interpretation in general, and of emotions, in particular, in people with ASD, through targeted actions that point to developing their ability to recognize body language, including facial expressions, looks, and speech. To increase awareness, resources, and support for those of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families. Provide recognition information to families seeking diagnostic services for their family members with ASD. Work with the community, medical service providers to increase understanding and appropriate services for individuals with ASD. Maintain a user-friendly mobile application with up-to-date information on all aspects of ASD and services that are available.

Project Implementation Method

For building this huge project we use Agile Methodology because agile software development allows teams to quickly adjust to changing needs without risking release deadlines. Agile also aids in the reduction of technical debt, the improvement of customer happiness, and the delivery of a higher-quality product. This SDLC is much preferable for this project because it is a very realistic approach for this system, promotes teamwork, delivers early partial working solutions, and is easy to manage.

Benefits of the Project

As it is a very unique project, there is no such known and reliable product in the market right now that can detect autism. Although not much research has been done on autism in the past now it is becoming a very serious issue worldwide. Imagine that only in America, there is a ratio of 1 in 68 people who are suffering from autism. So it is the right time to launch such a product. Our product will detect Autism in patients and can help the parents/guardians to contact their doctors timely. Our product will contribute highly to the medical field and market. This will be something that people always look for and is the need of the hour. Patients can be detected online just by real-time video and this will also be very authentic and cheap. It will be a new beginning to a new era of medicine.

Registration and Sign-In system for users

Doctors and patients can use this to enter the mobile application site field.

Doctors field
After registration, doctors can select the category that they are assigned by the administration and then the administration will verify it as well.

Test system

Patients can just simply click on the test and the system will start a real-time video or photo testing and after testing, results will be displayed.

Test history

The patient’s record will be saved so that he/she can see the past test results and can compare the test results for betterment.

Doctors selection

Patients can select the doctor of their choice and see if they are compatible with the staff or not.
