Therefore, the advantage of the system will definatelly be a very low cost and effective solution to the millions of blind worldwide.The proposed combination of various working unit makes a real time system that monitors the position of user and provide dual feedbackmaking navigation more safe and secure. Moreover, the proposed method also provides obstacle detection mechanism and OCR for reading purpose for visually impaired people. The features of the project make it extremely viable solution to the daily life isseus of blind people.
In addition, this project aim to conduct a technical and rigorous evaluation of the prototype to measure its effectiveness and feasability for finding an unknown destination, and developing feelings of independence and social acceptance.
Project ObjectivesTo Desgin and develop a smart bot for visually impaired people with multiple functions including dual feedbackmaking navigation system, obstacle detection and OCR for reading capability.
To evalaute the perfromance of prototype in such a way that it practically can develop feelings of independence and social acceptance for blind people in effective way.
Project Implementation MethodOur project approach applies robotic techniques for the purpose of giving navigation guidance to the blind human users. The interaction of the navigation modules with our user requires additional considerations compared to typical use cases in a general helping robot. For the implementation purpose, project protoype will be consisting of a central controlling unit connected with a number of sensors. The outcomes of the controller to assist the blind individuals will be basing on the rigorous training of the connected sensors and their feedback. The feedback wil be depending on the needs and demands of the blind user.
The developed electronic circuitry will be embedded on a pre designed blind stick that can work as an assiting bot. Image processing technique will be installed for the object detection using the equation applied as;

where f is the camera focus, kv is the pixel density (pixel/meter), h is the camera height from the ground, v0 is the center coordinate of the formed image, v is the target object connected to the ground coordinate, and Z is the distance between the target object and camera.
For performance evalaution, four visually impaired will be invited to test our system. The detail characteristics of each participant wil be provided in the final report. For the degree of visual impaired, all selected participants have partial level. Moreover, it will be made sure that all chosen users should ot have any experience of using other similar guiding system before.
