Allow visually impaired people to get a better understanding of their surroundings, get audio feedback of the objects that are in thier field of view and find objects specific objects using Find feature of the application

Project Objectives

use image processing to detect obejects in the surrounding and convert them into labels, these labels with be transferred to a speech engine that will convert the labels into speech whcih guide the visually imapred to get a better overview of thier surrounding

Project Implementation Method

1. react native for front end in which the camera will scan the obejcts .

2. those obejcts will pe processed by our SSDN_mobilenet model which is built in python and assign labels to the objects.

3. those labels will be sent to the front end again where the react-native speech engine libaray is implemented and it will voice-over the objects

Benefits of the Project

1. provide assisstance to the visually impaired community.

2. get a better feedback the surrounding.

3. voice over of the obejcts in front of the persons.

4. find specific items using "find feature".
