The website will be enrich with wide range of features including artist membership, create profile and manage favourites etc. This website will also help those who want to purchase some eye-catching stuff for their houses, offices etc. Moreover, art lover will review the services of the site based on other customer’s feedback.Through this portal, a customer may place orders for a variety of paintings and customize their order.

Project Objectives

      The main goals and objectives of this website are to:

• Provide an easy and interactive interface for both Artist and customers.
• Provide a selling platform to artists irrespective of their nationality, gender and other narrow consideration.
• Artists will be given the opportunity to patent their work.
• Provide assurance to the customer that they can buy the art without any pressure.

Project Implementation Method

We are using the “Waterfall Model” for our system.

It describes how it deals with requirements. It can be implemented for any size of the project. It is a linear process model in software development, whereby the software development process is organized into individually fixed phases and the phase results are always considered to be binding standards for the next phase. Each phase must be completely concluded in order to begin the next. Each phase also produces a detailed document or program. As we Know that requirements are static then waterfall project management provides a straightforward way to push a project through a clearly defined process. The workflow of this model has been presented in Figure below.

Art enthusiasts have to physically visit the art galleries and exhibitions to find their desired artwork. Now the world has become a global village that’s why there is no need to manually visit the exhibitions.

Through this portal, customers will place orders for a variety of paintings and customize their orders. In other words, the system will provide opportunity to the the novice artists to be part of digital artworld and patent their artwork. The ARTFOLIO (eminent digital showcase for artist) will save the time of the customer.

Now-a-Days, the Online art industry witness a growing demand for skilled artists and fine works of art. This portal will provide original, ethnic and unique art types from artists, and bring original art to larger consumers. The customers will get what they want, and artists will receive the right platform to expand their sales – making it a win-win situation.

Main Modules

1. Login/Registration

Login will provide a security mechanism that prevents unauthorized users from accessing the system. To login, the visitor must have to provide a valid username and password. The user registration mechanism will provide a form that allow new users to register themselves on the website. To register, the user must fill out the fields which are marked required.

2. Artist portfolio

An artist portfolio will best opportunity and often only chance to make a lasting impression on art lovers. Thus, it will portray the utmost professionalism while being presenting all relevant information in a convenient way for the viewer.

3. Favorites

There will be favorites for each registered customer. Each customer can make a personal gallery and may request to customize the artwork.

4. Announcement and news

Through this module end-user will get the information about the art exhibitions and other news.

5. Online Exibitions

Online exibitions will held for limited time to showcase the artwork of participated artists. The e-vistors will come up with a variety of eye-catching stuff. Also, they would be given the opportunity to purchase their favourite items after biding.

6. Online Booking / Cash on delivery

Customers will place orders for a variety of paintings and customize their order. Cash on delivery will be a secure way for those who still have trust issues with online shopping. There will few advance charges for Pay on Delivery.

7. Feedback / Rating

The website will get feedback from both artists and customers. Getting artist’s feedback will be helpfull to identify and eliminate problems of the website. The customer’s feedback will be helfull for artists to enhance their work.
