The project we are aiming to create focuses on the designing of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The aim is to design the motor, using the software known as Ansys MotorCAD, and increase the power efficiency of the motor.

The project we are aiming to create focuses on the designing of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The aim is to design the motor, using the software known as Ansys MotorCAD, and increase the power efficiency of the motor. 
 

Project Objectives

The aim is to design the motor, using the software known as Ansys MotorCAD, and increase the power efficiency of the motor. We will be working on a simulation-based project only since working out the smallest values for calculating each parameter can get very intense. The ultimate objective is to create a rendered design of a motor and patent it. further, we aim to put the motor in production in the second phase of the project or once we get funded for it since the estimated cost for the production of a motor exceeds 400 thousand Pakistani rupees and is far out of our range.
 

Project Implementation Method

using software known as Ansys MotorCAD we will be implementing our calculated values and readings. input and output parameters are also changed according to calculations and some minor tweaks depending on the betterment of the design. The shapes and sizes of each and every smallest and most prominent element in a synchronous motor can be changed inside the software hence allowing us more than a million different combinations.

Benefits of the Project

This project is thought of as a little step toward a greener Pakistan and a greener globe. This motor does not use any natural fuels or does not create any harmful byproducts. this means apart from it being more than 90% efficient in the conversion of the energy, it is also eco-friendly. which is why we are working on making this project a success.
 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The basic simulation model will be delivered and the hunt for funding to create the first hard model will be kept ongoing. so far a more efficient and eco-friendly permanent magnet synchronous motor's design simulation will be provided with extensive research on how to build it.
