Writing Robot for Printed Circuit Board Design
Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryThe machining technologies and modern intelligent systems are expensive and require easy handling and integrated-able machine with various devices to perform multiple machining tasks. Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines are accessible by manufacturers to perform several machining tasks due to effectiveness in handling accuracy. The majority of CNC machines are costly due to it complex but efficient machine and software design. This project is aimed to develop a cost effective and easily integrate-able CNC Machine System that is accessible to add-on Nd-Yag Laser Device. This project is designed to design at 45 degree and replicate the image given in command. It is a pen plotter, which is the type of simple robot. Its sole function is to guide a pen (or other implement mounted in the pen holder) along the set of vector lines, curves, and paths that you ask it to follow. Everything that the machine is ultimately capable of, such as drawing graphics, writing text, or signing documents, are expressions of this basic function. It is capable of drawing essentially anything that can be composed from a set of lines.
Project Objectives- To make a simple design operated CNC writing machine
- To increase the efficiency of CNC writing machine.
- Reduction in cost of the CNC machine
- Reduction of Programming
- To design and fabricate printed circuit board using home made writting robot.

Technical Details of Final Deliverablestepper motors will consume 12V DCservo motor will consume 5V DC
Core (MotherBoard) will consume 5V DC
Two adaptors will be used to power up to robot
one is of 12V DC and other is of 5V DC
For command operation we will use inkspace software. Software will be used as input for robot. It will convert the image in gray scale , the robot will draw it as given
