Project Objectives
Objectives:
- to track current location
- to track employee’s health i.e. Heartrate, Blood Pressure
- to measure the distance travelled by employee
- cost reduction by calculating the actual travel expense
- employee’s trust level will grow
Project Implementation Method
Methodology:
- employee will be given an activity tracker band or smart watch which he/she must wear while on duty.
- data (heartrate, location, B.P, no. of steps) from band will be sent to server and managed in ERP module.
- manager will have access to this module
Benefits of the Project
One of the important assets of an organization is its employees. In office management, tracking and health monitoring of employees is easy but same is not the case when employees work outside the organization’s premises etc. There are many problems faced by both employer and employees. This project is to resolve these problems if not all but at least some of them.Let’s take the example of problems faced by the employer and employees of polio project
- where is employee?
- what is employee doing? Is he /she doing the work?
- is employee safe?
- is employee physically fit to carry out today’s task?
- are travel expenses claimed by employee correct?
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
ERP Module to keep record of all information of employees i.e. personal informaton, work information, location details, health and fitness details etc
Data from activity trackers will be sent to server using open source APIs.
