The project “IoT-based Home Automation System” provides a low-cost and efficient system. This system operates from Android Smartphone and communicates with hardware interface modules Wi-Fi ESP8266 through Arduino UNO microcontroller which is also capable of functioning as a micro web server and the interface for all the hardware modules. The home Automation system offers to monitor the environment using PIR, humidity, temperature, and gas leak sensors. It also controls switching lights, fans, and other home appliances using relay modules.
This system is controlled by the Android smartphone app.
The main objective of this project is to promote Mobile Application Home Automation System to control our entire home electric/electronic home appliance
like Led, fans, TV & AC in just one tap. Rather than manually operate.
The recent developments in technology that permit the use of Wi-Fi have enabled
different devices to have capabilities of connecting with each other.
SOFTWARE:
Programming Language: C++, Integrated Development environment IDE Arduino for Arduino programming, Java Programming language for Mobile Application.
HARDWARE:
Arduino UNO, Relay Board, Relay Switches, Temperature sensor, PIR sensor, Gas Sensor, ESP8266 Wi-Fi Shield.
