Wireless charging eliminates the cable typically required to charge mobile phones, cordless appliances etc. With a wireless charger, the battery inside any battery-powered appliance can be charged by simply placing the appliance close to a wireless power transmitter or a designated charging station. Battery charging without cables can add convenience, durability and safety to a number of different applications. The automotive sector could also use this technology for in-car charging of personal devices, or on a larger scale for charging electric cars. Because no connectors are required, it’s also well suited to hermetically sealed products such as portable medical devices.
We will develop such a system through which the electronic devices will be charged wirelessly. In our system we will use the most popular wireless technologies which now-a-days in use rely on an electromagnetic field between a two copper coils, which will greatly limit the distance between the device and charging pad. This system will transfer power wirelessly instead of using copper cables and current carrying wires.
In our project we will use microcontroller that constantly measures battery charges and charges battery automatically until it reaches 100% capacity. Therefore, by this way the power will gets transferred through primary coil to secondary coil that are separated by certain distance around 4cm. The range may increase by increasing coil size accordingly.
We will develop android application. It will be connected to the hardware part through Bluetooth module. Also, database is also the part of application. The charging status of the device will be stored in the database. Once the battery will be charged, all the information will be automatically stored in database. The information includes battery charging, time of the device that at which time the device starts charging and time will be stored in database. Also, the date and day of connecting and disconnecting devices will be stored in database. In the hardware part there will be two coils will be used secondary and primary coil, primary coil act as transmitter and secondary coil to receives power to run load. There will be a certain distance at which the batteries will be charged. When you place the battery near the coil it will start charging and the status will be shown on the LCD screen and on android app.
As power requirements for portable devices increases, consumers are looking for easy to use charging solutions that can be deployed in a wide array of environment such as home, office, automobiles, airports, schools and more. Since wireless charging is a newly born technology it is not mature enough and widely used, but with people’s high expectations it will soon be popular among people. Although wireless charger is brand new to public it will also provide brands new using experience.

It will be connected to the hardware part(wireless charger). Also, device name and charging status will be stored in the database. Once the battery charged, all the information will be automatically stored in database like the name of the charging devices, starting time of the device that at which time the device starts charging and when the device becomes completely charged it will automatically disconnected, and this disconnection time will be stored in database, Also the date of connecting and disconnecting devices will be stored in database. In the hardware part there will be two coils will be used secondary and primary coil, primary coil act as transmitter and secondary coil to receives power to run load. There will be a certain distance at which the batteries will be charged. When you place the battery near the coil it will start charging and the status will be shown on the LED screen. By increasing the range of coil, it will be available to the large number of users.
For the development of system, we use incremental process model. The incremental process model is a methodology of software development. This model is designed, implemented and tested until the product is finished. The incremental model is an evolution of waterfall method. The reason behind selecting Incremental Process model is that product is decomposed into a number of components; each component is designed and built separately. Each component is delivered to the organization when it is complete.
