In today’s life, computer has developed a lot. It has made many things possible which are supposed to be impossible in the past. The reason to develop the software “. STUDENT ACADEMIC PROJECT MONITROING SYSTEM” is to adopt the benefits of computer. The computerization of the system will fasten the working skill of students etc. They will be able to do much more work than the manual working system. As well as high speed computerization will also enhances the accuracy of the work. This helps further to establish less probabilistic errors environment. Working on computer also helps to prevent your data from unauthorized access. It will also help to student of distant education. This system helps students to submit their proposal online at home or any other place. It can save time. Thus, the developing this Student Academic Project Monitoring System is to create a safe, fast, which is more users friendly and beneficial for the institutions or departments.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this Academic Project Monitoring System is to provide an online web-based solution for academic use in any institute. In this system, there are three roles i.e., Head of department (HOD), Supervisor and Student. The first step is to register students and supervisors. HOD have the access to register students and supervisors. Student can also register itself using registration form.
The goal of this application is to create the foundation for a web-based Student Academic Project Monitoring System, the approval system will collect the information from the students about their final year projects, the system contains the feature of choosing supervisor, and supervisor is responsible to trace the status of the students regarding their project proposals. Supervisors will get information when the students submit new proposals for their projects and similarly students would be able to get the notification related to the supervisors’ approval and rejection of the project proposal. Scheduling will be allowed to the students to schedule their processes/phases for doing their projects, it would need specific amount of duration as an input from the students. Supervisors and students can communicate with each other progressively. HOD/Admin can register students, supervisors, and other admins. HOD/Admin can see the registered projects by the users of the system as well as he/she has fully permission to all the features of the application. The accounts creator system will be responsible to notify all the registered users through the help of emails. Every supervisor has the authority to see the information of the students who have registered thereselves with the concern supervisor. Students would be to upload thesis at the end of the project. Gantt chart would be plotted through the phases define by the students for their projects.

Using this web application, the above entire flow can be automated, so that the student will not need to submit any hard copy of the project, the department or institute has no need to maintain all the collected Hard Copies of the students in the Library for records. All the records will be saved online in database, which can be access easily online anytime from everywhere.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableIn the future, online thesis submission system, plagiarism checker, enhance notification feature with messaging feature, real time chat would be introduced in the application.
