WASTE TO ENERGY PLANT
Project Summary:
A standalone waste to energy plant that demonstrates the modeling of a nonconventional power generation source that can deal with the rising power needs of Pakistan in the future. This domestically designed plant would act as a prototype of large scale generation. Implementations and outputs of this project are purely dependent on resources and extents that are easily accessible domestically.
Objective:
To design and demonstrate the working and modeling of a stand-alone Waste to Energy(WTE) plant domestically.
The eyes of This project to achieve the outputs that are implementable in domestic generations.
Implementation Method:
The strategy used in its implementation is quite identical to that of coal-fired steam powerplant(only the fuel is changed i.e Waste).
1)A combustion chamber carrying domestic waste would heat the boiler that contains a regular flow of water.
2)This heating effect would convert the water into steam.
3) The steam would ultimately be a force to the rotor part(Turbine) that would act as a prime mover for a DC motor.
4) The DC would be converted to AC by installing an inverter circuit after DC generation.
5) The output of the inverter would be used to provide electricity to some domestic appliances to demonstrate the instant application.
Benefits of projects
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
As the output of our project is the Electricity (power generation ).The technicality involved in it quite similar to the coal-fired steam power plant but here the waste is our fuel source instead of coal which make it cheaper and reliable as waste is easily available especially in Pakistan Moreover we are aiming to invert the DC power which is produced by the plant into pure AC sine wave and operate the AC appliances in order to demonstrate the instant application of our model sine its the pilot model so we are producing power use at initials.
