This robot, as the name suggests, is designed to assist humans according to their basic needs throughout the day.
The robot is expected to carry out all basic tasks assigned to it. It is expected to be a chatbot that keeps the user amused as well as manages the routine schedules for the user. It would be an intelligent machine that would be adaptive. The design suggests that it would move around on its own and being voice authorized it could be able to follow the user’s voice, provided that there is very little or no noise, and come to the user depending upon the strength of the audibility.
It is beneficial for humans to attend to more bigger problems and leave the short and time-consuming ones to their Artificially intelligent personal assistants. After they have adapted to certain situations, their efficiency would brilliantly increase.
The general objectives of our project are to make Artificial Intelligence-based machine-particularly robot-do things that require intelligence when done by human such as:
The method revolves around two stages that are essential for the development of a Robot. The first one is merely the presentation of the knowledge that is housed within it. The other phase is about formal definitions and foundations of a basic close-to-human-understanding Robot. Evidently, a bot is an intelligent machine that gives relevant responses to the queries/questions being raised. This majorly involves breaking down the input into smaller sentences to figure out the concepts of the conversation. There are two major parts of a conversation i.e. entities and intents. Entities are questions being raised as an input to the Robot which is not very simple. The solutions to these Entities are Intents i.e. the desired solutions. Once the answers are generated to the questions raised, there comes the phase of presenting them. Representation of knowledge is the most essential step after the generation of an appropriate result. It is beneficial to create glossaries that may help the Robot to design the solution for a problem within the required time.
We have managed to design the body of our robot through the software ‘Solidworks’. We have used Python to program our chatbot. API (Application Program Interface) is a set of commands, instructions and protocols with the help of which users may create new programs or even softwares i.e programmers do not need to write codes from scratch. This chatbot utilizes the information that is enormous in amount. Therefore, we make use of the library.
