Virtual Driving Test
This project will provide new insights regarding driver behavior, techniques and adaptability. This study has been done because driving a vehicle is critical and one of the most common daily tasks. Simulators are used for the purpose of training and researching driver behavior and characteristics the project addresses driver experience by involving new virtual reality technologies.
A simulator will be used to assist novice drivers to learn how to drive in a
very safe environment, and researching and collecting data for researchers will become easier due to this secure and user-friendly environment. The theoretical framework of this driving simulation will be designed by using the Unity3D game engine and will be programmed with the C# programming language. To make the driving environment more realistic we, in addition, utilized the HTC Vive Virtual reality headset which is powered by Steam vr. we will use Unity Game Engine to design our scenarios and maps because by doing this we will become able to be more flexible with designing.
In this context we will check different drivers experience in the simulator and check there behavior how they drive. For those who don’t have an experience about driving and they have a no car they can easily understand the driving and will become able to drive. There are so many scenarios which are not understand by a non-driver like how to control speed, how to remain calm and relaxed while driving, how to use driving at appropriate speeds depending on changes in road structures and etc. can affect their driving performance. A man who can’t afford a car will become able to learn driving. Through this people who are interested can get driving license. It will prevent from real time accident and its damages also. Through this a non-driver can understand driving indication and traffic rules and regulation.
The main purpose of this project is to give a chance to people how they can use virtual reality for driving purpose and provide facility to government license issuing agencies.
By using this people can easily understand the driving and its rules and regulation.
It will be useful for those who can’t afford a car and want to learn driving.
it will prevent people from real time accident and serious damges of that.
it will be low cost project for driving seeking and it adjust the fuel cost which is applied on a real car.
Through this many people can get a chance to seek driving and check their behaviour in driving.
All testing and main testing will be performed on the Driving simulator. The driving simulator is a research grade, dynamically realistic, moving base “driver in the loop” device it will control flexibility, measurement ease and safety that are provided thereby. Driver object will set in driver cab equipped with instrumented controls and displays. we will use an 3d gaming pad which will be attached with the gear accelerometer and speed controller. Through it will get all the output and ones who use it will get an experience of riding. The user will enjoy of riding. There will be a chance for a man who is not familiar with the gaming technology. Through this user will get a knowledge of traffic rules and also the car driving.
Through this system a man who has no experience about driving can seek driving and its rules and regulations.
This project will prevent people from real time accident and its losses.
Through this system government license issuing agencies can easily be check drivers driving.
