Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryVirtual Chemistry Lab is a web application which is used to perform lab virtually without having need of physical interaction with teacher. Our approach to simplify all problems of student regarding experiments of chemistry. It covers all aspects of experiments including viva voice, theoretical knowledge about experiments. It is like a all in one portal for students from which all problems and needs regarding experiments can be fulfilled.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective of the project is to provide the opportunity for those students who live either lives in the remote areas of the country or may not able to attend physical labs in schools or colleges. Before preforming the required labs, the students will have to follow the given instructions so they may perform the practical virtually. This virtual chemistry labs also for those colleges where the physical apparatus is not provided and students have to face many problems to perform their tasks.
Project Implementation Method Project scopeThe scope of this project includes and excludes the following items.
In scope:-
To cut and bend a glass tube and draw a jet

To determine the melting point of a given solid.

To determine thee boiling point of a given liquid.

To purify the given sample the copper sulphate by crystallization.

To prepare the standard solution of oxalic acid.

To standardize the given solution of sodium hydroxide using oxalic acid solution.

To test the passage of an electric current through electrolytic and non-electrolytic solution.
The Virtual Chemistry lab play a very important role for performing the experiment which is basically based on the simulation. All the instructions will be provided which helps to perform the lab virtually. In the instructions the way will be given that how to use the apparatus virtually such as drag and drop etc. This helps students to perform the lab at anytime and anywhere.
