Project Summary

The project is based on Visual Shooting System. Project is divided into two parts, first is the Visuo-weapon, a gun and second is Reactive Impact Suit. In the Gun, we will be using Computer Vision to detect opponent specifically different organs of the opponent. After aiming at a specific part, trigger will be pressed which will create a virtual gunshot effect. On the other hand, reactive suit will create an impact for the targeted person where he/she got hit. This impact can be initiated by implanted motors at each specific body organ. All the players will be connected via network in order to calculate corresponding shoots, over all score and a player health.

Project Objectives

Our aim is to produce a reality-based game which will help in improving the health of youth as well as to feel the real combat skills .

  • We will apply the computer vision (i.e., Human Detection, Pose Detection, Color Detection) at the first step.
  • After creating our model/algorithm, we will design the 3D printed Gun. Then hardware of gun will be prepared which include Micro Computer, LED, Camera etc.
  • Then we will move on to the Reactive Impact Suit. Reactive-Vibrators will be pasted inside the suit, and they will be connected to a circuit installed in a bag.
  • Then in the third phase, we will be using IoT to connect the players and sending shooting signals to the server and then from server to the opponent circuitry. This circuitry will then produce wounding effect.

For the prototype purpose, we will use a toy gun and the only one vibrator over the opponent suit. On the success, we will move on to the next phase, creating realistic gun and fully functional reactive impact suit.

In this era, youth is involved in E-Gaming and Online Multiplayer Battle Royale Games. Known outcomes of playing Online games are strain on the eyes, frazzle, migraine, obesity, poor sleep and more. Psychological health issues are there too such as withdrawal (irritability, poor sleep, anger) depression, insomnia and even substance abuse because of compulsive disorder. Moreover, there’s no physical fitness in such games. To overcome such problems, we have planned to develop a Physical Combat Multiplayer Game inspired by current digital games such as PUBG, COD, DOTA etc. We will be involving youth into the Physical Fitness rather than playing a game by sitting at a place. Also, we will be overcoming the psychological issues.
