Project Area of Specialization Internet of ThingsProject SummaryA data acquisition system collects real world environmental conditions data and then perform tasks like storage and analysis. Usually, signals from sensors are sampled, converted into digital form, and stored by a computer into server for further data Analysis.Data Acquisition is one of the important parts in IOT based system. We are going to develop a Data Acquisition System for vehicle that will not only track the location but also give the internal environmental data of the vehicle. Our project consists of a box named “White Box” that include different sensors to get real time data of Temperature, Carbon monoxide, Pressure, Noise, Light and Humidity of vehicle. We also place a GPS tracker to get the real time location of the vehicle. Our scope is to develop a system just like a black box in an airplane but the black box information is useful after incident but in our case white box will play the role to avoid the upcoming incident. The system is helpful to avoid any contingency situation. We can also place this box to any location to overcome upcoming disastrous events.

Project Implementation Method- Prepare the infrastructure of VDAS

Main goal is to provide safe journey to public with the help of system that will show the real time environmental data and sends alert to the system when particular sensor detect data at hazardous level.
