An android-based application that helps drivers to share real-time bus location through firebase real-time database. On the other side, the user (Student) can see the location of bus anytime through user-specific application

Project Objectives

Help students keep track of their school/university bus and never miss out.

Project Implementation Method

There are a total of three parties involved in the transportation of any school/university i.e Admin, Driver, and Students. Admin has a web-based UI where he can keep track of all buses on one map. The driver and student each has their own android application where they can share and track location respectively. The backend of the app has Java and Firebase databases.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Requires the user (Student) to install the apk file on their android device, the driver also needs to do the same and share their location through GPS. Admin only needs to login to a web-based portal from where they can view buses.
