As if we see the internet as narrowed the distance of communication through live chat and E-commerce. As people having less time and power work they usually busy in their life routine. They want to have control of the things remotely to manage their works, home and money consumption. So, home automation is very vital part in the future of this busy life senario. By providing the control, power management, bill calculation, safety and security of devices, alerts, switching plans, busy and leisure hours, intelligent decision making, and easy and secured control. Smartphones have allowed people to connect to the internet without the need for a computer, while still offering the same ability to do things but through different means. With the introduction of better hardware and better software, smartphones have become powerful devices and have become an important part of people’s daily lives. A major aspect is how the smartphone can connect and communicate with other devices. For example, smartphones can be used as a mouse for a computer, or it can connect to the speakers of cars allowing people (who use a product or service) to play their own music. There are many uses of this sort. A field that is (not very long ago) gaining (quality of being liked a lot or done a lot) is home automation which can also use smartphones as information or ability to do things hubs.
Home Automation and Security: Controlling the device through modern devices like mobile and laptop. This mechanism removes the efforts of the human being. You can easily check the devices through mobile or 8 laptop remotely have eyes on our devices their consumption, billing, fuse system for safety of devices, alerts. This providing security in a way like, if the current our voltage rush to higher vales. As the refrigerator has an operating voltage of minimum 180v and maximum 250v if the voltage rush to more then 250v the device will generate an alert to the user (controller person) on the app if the user doesn’t reply in 10-20 seconds the system will shut down the devices automatically it will have certain vale of a rush too if more then that it will quickly shut down the devices connected. Through the IoT connectivity, the system is secured it will have a proper username and password to log in to the application of control whether app or web. IoT: Physical devices connected to the internet, all collecting and all share data. A bulb that is a switch by a smartphone is an IoT device. We are using, this in the project to make data collecting and sharing via smartphone or websites. The system is totally protected, no one can have access without a specific app or IP address for more safety one user need id and password to log in.
Project ObjectivesPaper focus on the modren use of technology to meet the modren need of public now a days. As many reseachers are being done and implemented to provide ease to Human kind. Presently, we handle most of our devices manually. Now very rarely use Automation of control devices but there is huge gap in aotumation inventions and implementation on the basic usage level. Automation industry is going to make huge impact on life in no time. To make the home automation system based on raspberry pi using iot (internet of things) connectivity. This system have ability to processes the things in real time and making decisions, when necessary, allowing full control to the user in sense of monitoring and control through app and web GUI ( graphical user interface).
Project Implementation MethodThe system funactional requrenments like the system is connected to the Wi-Fi otherwise it will not work and your control Smartphone must have the application that is controlling the syetem with internet connectivity. As this system is IoT securied the user will require specific user name and password to login into the interface where user will get connected to the system. Where user will have the full view of the system output options to control the system. Also the measurenment option, details option where he/she view thw busy hours and leisure hour of the devices and plan the switching schedule according to requirnments. Bill calculation option will be there for bill calculation based on real collected data.

System is connected to the Wi-Fi when the devices get connected through (mobile app or web) by entering the ID and password pre-set the user can have the interface access.

Here in the interface user can have the whole features on screen (voltage, current and wattage ratings) option to turn and off also the bill calculation button.
