Project Summary

• Travel Pro is an application aim to provide the smart user interactive travel guide around the globe with main target to promote tourism in Pakistan.
• Travel Pro can help users to manage or allow them to create thier own custom trips to thier desired destinations in user given time span.
• We will help travelers with real time route mapping and also with interactive GUI.
• App will also provide potential trip suggestions based on user search activity and also on most searched destination.
• Our App will also provide Past trips record, along with the dates and other info. Past trips are automatically created or saved from confirmations we send to user.

Project Implementation Method

In Order to acheive our objectives we are using following technologies:

Full Stack Development

• We will make full stack web application based on MERN stack.

For making our application highly scalable and avaible we are using cloud base technologies:

• Heroku Hobby Cloud Server
• MongoDB cloud Atlas
• Authentication for sign in / sign up from Facebook and Google.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

MERN stack Web Application:

• Our Application front end(client end) will be developed in reactjs which will generate request to our sever backend
• In which for development we will use nodejs for server side scripting and expressjs for web backend to deal with request and response to the client end 
• Our data store is MongoDB cloud service named as Atlas which will help us to store and retrieve data in json format.
• In between request and response from express our app will also use Google APIs  in between for rendeing various places to the user.

We will use :
Places API to get data from the same database used by Google Maps It also includes the following functionalities:

• Places Search Return a list of places based on a user’s location or search string.
• Place details Return detailed information about a specific place, including user reviews.
• Place Autocomplete can be used to automatically fill in the name and/or address of a place as user type.
• Query Autocomplete can be used to provide a query prediction service for text-based geographic searches, by returning suggested queries as user type.
• Place Photos gives us access to the millions of Place related photos stored in Google's Place database.

 Directions API

• To make optimal routes we will use Directions API to let the user know about how to start and end its itenary.

Distance Matrix API

• To calculate Travel time and distance between multiple destinations.

Maps API

• To load Google Map view for displaying route of itenary.

Heroku Hobby Cloud Server

• We will use this service to host our web app for scalability and availabilty.
