Our Project is all about enhancing the functionality of Bidirectional converter and enabling the four quadrant operation in the converter by changing the reference current.
In summary the main objective is to design a commercial product which will fulfill the needs at industrial scale. It will be a four-quadrant converter with a different topology of bidirectional converter used in the market. Our product will play a key role in the following aspects. Our converter will enhance the functionality of a bidirectional charger by adding the ability to provide or absorb reactive power. By real and reactive power we will observe that in which quadrant our converter is working. We will also be syncing the AC with the grid with the help of Phase lock loop Technique (PLL).
These are the objectives of three phase four quadrant converter.
Project is implemented using fast switching mode operation which is quite similar to the Chinese inverters. Basically, the SG3525 is used to operate the IRF3205 to provide a pulsing AC to the transformer which is iron core. This process is done to get DC of high voltage and current. Then it is converted to DC and delivered to the circuit of three phase ac which is controlled by the code. To maintain the integrity of power we use the SG3525 at 50 percent duty cycle and also use the advance features of slow start. At the grid tie circuit part, we also use the feedback approach to check and balance the output at a specific level. Our circuit also contain the features of current limit and protection for surges by using ACS712.
