Get remind is a smart Android application which reminds the user about their accessory’s expiry & location. This reminder-based application provides different types of reminders such as Expiry reminder with the help of advance (QR/Barcode) technology and location-based reminder. While using this application user can scan QR/barcode of any Product such as Foods, Medicines, Electronic items, Important document and so on. and set Expiry & location reminder as per requirement. At the time of Product expiry & saved location appears or reaches, this application will notify & alert a user about their product expiry & location.

This application will be more important for the Production Industry and Busy people because they do not remember all their works or Expiry date of their products such as foods, medicines, Important and so on. Reminding manual, it’s not a good idea because they must keep track that pieces of paper. This digital reminder system lets you “Set & forget” and reminded when the time comes

Project Objectives

The product is an android application that is allowing the user to perform basic cell phone task according to trigger (Expiry of products and Location). It has solved the above-listed problems faced by the user community. The Get Remind App, intends to make a multi-use, Android-based application for each person or individual in this world, that enables them to effectively, rapidly, and correctly get help to remember their expiry of grocery, documents and their area from this app by scanning QR-BARCODE of their products such as  (medicines, vegetables, cosmetics, important documents, organization things and so forth).

While using this application user can scan QR/barcode of any Product such as Foods, Medicines, Electronic items, Important document and so on. and set Expiry & location reminder as per requirement. At the time of Product expiry & saved location appears or reaches, this application will notify & alert the user about their product expiry & location.

Project Implementation Method

We have summarized the following step to develop this application:

• Design: The work begins at this phase UX designers begin to work on their first iteration of the project, with the goal of developing the best architecture for the product in accordance with the requirements specified
• Implementation: The implementation phase includes the following
• User Interface (the development of User Interface (UI) will be done through the XML.
• Coding (After finishing the UI part then the main coding part will be started to put all the functionalities in the application)
• Testing: During the development process, unit testing will be done to ensure all modules are built correctly. System integration testing will be done after we have built all the components and combined them into the application. We will test the database and the user interface

• Firebase (Cloud Storage).

Get Remind is an android based application it requires an android based device to get installed or run. This app requires the internet connection or data connection for add and set location reminder with google map and for sharing the resources. It supports Android version 5.0 and above.
