The Smart Evaluator is a android and desktop application to automate the quiz system. The project aims to help teachers and students to set, conduct, attempt and mark the quizes and assignments. The facial recognition technology will be implied to ensure the authenticity of the students attempt during the evaluations. During the quiz the students eye gaze will  be tracked to check he/she is not cheating from the peers. It will be achieved through a live gaze-tracking system. Mcqs will be checked automatically and text-based questions will be provided to teacher for checking. Result will be compiled and provided to teacher and students.

Project Objectives

Our goal is to design a management system for teachers in which they can also conduct quizes and assignments to track students performance record. Main purpose of our project is to provide a reliable method of conducting quizes, assignments and generating results. Our target is to provide a better and cheaper solution from any campus management or quiz systems.  

Project Implementation Method

We are using netbeans for desktop application, android studio is used for android development and phpmyadmin is used as our database. Face detection is done by using viola jones algorithm. feature extraction is done by harr feature extration algorithm. Eye gaze localization is done by an algorithm i.e. eye-gaze tracking in low resolution.

Benefits of the Project

As our system will improve the quality of conducting the quizzes, marking them hence it will cause the quality of grades to be improves so it will impact the quality of education. 

Secondly our system will provide environmental friendly conduction of quizzes and assignments. That will for sure make less use of paper and stationary.

Our system will provide the teacher to timely disseminate the result to students and to track students record.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable will be an android application which will be deployed in appstore and will be used by students. The desktop application will be provided online and that will be used by teachers.
