Results in hospitals and doctors have already received a number of media attention, but relatively little is said about the impact of information technology on dentists. Tele-dentistry is the use of information technology and telecommunications dental care, consultation, education, and public awareness. This Mobile Application will ask series of questions and tell the patient whether they have to come in Hospital, or it is sufficient to get prescription at their end. This project helps the patients to get distant diagnose.
Project ObjectivesThe objective of this project is to facilitate the those people who can not travel through the dental clinics or hospitals. If some patient have the disease which can only be get fine by taking prescription despite that patient come in hospital which is not good practice so this project will help to those by asking series of questions and give them final result that whether they have to visit the hospital or not. In the era of COVID-19 this application can give the banefits more and more. Patient do not have to travel, do not have to go outside and even patient do not have to wait for their number within a 15minutes patient can get their priscription by doctor.
Project Implementation MethodFirst of all I will gather the requirments of project by getting consult with different dentist I will talk with doctor about the disease that they can check via an application and on the basis of that I will gather the more data regarding that. After that my plan would be making an Android Mobile Application for this project because majority of users use android mobile phone and mobile is the common gadget which everyone holds now a days and using an application is much easier than website. Then I will start my actual developement and once I developed my application then I go for Beta testing.
Benefits of the ProjectThis project can give the huge benefit to everyone. Patient can contact with their doctor by sitting in any place. The big benefit of this project is that patient can book his/her appointments. No only his/her patient can also book the appointment for every person of his/her family, and by sitting at home they can get consulted with doctor. Patient can also pay their bill using this application, infact patient can share their infected area's pictures to the doctor. There would be many feature in the application which can give the benefits to the patients. Like Audio/Video call, chat, Notification, Calender for remainding to patient and doctor both, and many more. By using this application patient can get know whether he has to go hospital according to this disease or no so this application is time saving application for both doctor and patient as well.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableI will develop this project by using technologies Android Studio, Java, and Firebase. There are many android predefine functions that can help to develop an attractive UI and provide basic functionalities of doing this. Some Technical details of My project are given below:
