Project Summary

SWAP AND SELL is a mobile application where we offer community a platform on which they can swap their books with each other and sell them. Other service that we are providing is selling imported used and new shoes. There is huge offline market of used books in Pakistan but there is no online platform where people can swap, sell or buy used books same is for imported used shoes there are few platforms for that also. We believe that tapping right market at right time can generate huge revenues right now this a huge market gap and a problem that we can solve by creating this platform. Generally, when kids pass their class, they don’t open those books again what if we give them a platform where they can put their books for selling or exchange them with each other it will save them a lot of money.

The next market gap that we observed was there was no online platforms to sell used imported shoes there are markets in Lahore where people sell used shoes but it is hard to find slightly used shoes. We will contact them to separate shoes that are in good condition. We will put those shoes on our platform with complete product description like company, product code, shoe condition from 1 to 10 there will be recommendation system applied in it that will recommend users different products according to their products.

• Providing people quality products that are 100% authentic.
• To provide people ease to order their favorite shoes from home.

Project Implementation Method

In this project we will be using Feature Driven Development approach. It is an agile iterative model that focuses specially on feature set that are more valuable to the clients. There are short iterations and frequent releases of modules. Feature Driven Development is highly scalable for every kind of teams it can be effective for both small projects and large cross-functional projects.

Reason to use FDD:

• Paying more attention to features than documentation
• It is suitable for lead developers and programmers.
• Change can also be done even if it is not mentioned in the plan.

• Keeping the processes enough simple meanwhile also possible
• Fully functioning software is the primary focus of progress
• Keeping the development sustainable and suitable

There are five basic stages in Feature Driven Development. First creating an overall model then listing its features then plan is created for every feature then the model designed according to the features and then building that model according to feature

Benefits of the Project

The primary scope of this application is to provide users a platform where they can sell and swap their books and buy slightly used imported shoes. Currently there is no mobile application in the market that provide this facility there is a huge market of selling and buying of used books but we are giving people a platform where they can put their old books online for selling and swapping purposes. There is also a huge offline market of selling used imported shoes we are also creating a platform where people can buy slightly used imported shoes the condition of the shoes will also be mentioned out of ten, their international product code will also be mentioned.

This mobile application will be developed react native framework and Google firebase will be used as database. The main components of this app will be a book swapping system users can also sell their books a slightly used imported shoes mall, recommendation system to recommend shoes to users according to their preferences there will be also a drop shipping feature through which buyers will get their delivery and pay to the delivery man users will be able to give review to the profiles of other user so that people can see the reputation of seller before buying their product after buying a shoe a receipt will be generated which will be sent to the delivery man on receipt there will be total bill of the buyer and its address
