The storyteller will provide many services to their users. Services are broadly divided into four main categories, which are explained briefly: 

1. Services for writers: These services will provide all functionality required to make the life of a writer easier.

Defining Characters: Character is one of the main parts of the story. There can be many characters in the story. This project will allow the user to define their story’s characters individually. Users can define the character name, role, responsibilities, impact, etc. Each character will be saved, so the user can refer to it whenever he/she needs it.
Defining Scenes: One story can contain many scenes. Such as the opening scene, middle scene, and ending scene. Placing the right scene at the right time is very crucial. This project will allow the user to structure the various scenes of the project.
Real-time referencing: The component that makes this project different from other storytelling websites/apps is real-time referencing. There can be many characters in one story such as Game of Thrones which is a very popular american drama series has 43 main characters and 198 supporting characters, in total 241 characters, one of the most selling novel harry potter which is  written by J.K Rowline has 772 characters. While writing the story the main problem the writer faces is remembering which character fits where or which character plays what role. So this project will allow the user (or writer) to get the real-time character description while writing. It will also provide a real-time description of stages.
Sharing your story/manuscript and getting feedback:  A good story never comes at first try, it always requires multiple revisions. That’s why feedback is very important. Therefore, this project will allow the user (or writer) to share his/her story/manuscript with other users (or writers) to get feedback.
Online conferencing: Users will also be able to conduct online meetings with other users (or publisher) via this project. This will allow the user (or writer) to discuss the idea or certain part of the story/manuscript with other users (or publisher).

2. Services for publisher: Once you write your story then it’s time to publish it. Storyteller will allow the writer to communicate with the publisher and then the publisher will be able to publish the writer 's book. This project will provide all required functionality for publishers to not only communicate with the writer but also publish their book.

3. Services for readers: Once the book is published then the user will be able to find and read the publisher book.

4. Services for Admin: 
a. Authentication and authorization of the publication house. 
b. Ability to solve issues of users

Project Objectives

Our main aim is to make the story writer life easier and efficient.

To allow an individual to plane write and publish their novels, no matter where he or she is located in the world, To achieve our aim we need to solve the most common problems of story writers.

Project Implementation Method

We will be using the following technologies in this project.

• HTML5
• CSS3
•  SASS
• SQL
• Jscript
• Pug Templet (for server-side rendering)
•  AJAX

We will be using Scrum approach for development. 

Benefits of the Project

Story Writing tool will Generate a structure and create chapters and scenes accordingly the provided data. Writer will be able to drag and drop the scenes with in the chapter and the character names will be used in real time referencing by using the ‘[ ]’ the Brackets. The final structure of the book/story will be exported in a pdf file according to the book standard defined by the Story Writing tool. The writer will be allowed to share his unpublished book/story with his colleagues or professionals for the review and feedback. The book will be published on the publisher page after the approval by the specific publisher such as (Thomson Reuters, Penguin Random House, Hachette Livre, HarperCollins, Macmillan Publishers, Bertelsmann, Scholastic Corporation, McGraw-Hill Education and many others).
